The Rotary Club of The Skylands hosted its annual HarvestFest at Jersey Girl Brewery on Friday, November 5. The event raised $10,000 for scholarships. 
 
The event, chaired by Rotarian Jason Lorenz of Hopatcong, drew more than 100 attendees. It featured the Mount Olive-based Jersey Girl Brewing beer and a buffet dinner catered by Polo's Bar & Grill in Netcong. 

"This event was a huge success thanks to the donors and Rotarians who made it possible," said Mark Hartmann, Past President of the 74-year-old Skylands Rotary Club. "Because of the event scholarships and academic awards will be given to students in Netcong, Stanhope, Byram and Mount Olive." 
 
Fulton Bank was the Event Sponsor with HartmannRhodes and Kingtown Truck Stop as Founding Sponsors. The Hollenberg Group of RBC Wealth Management, Schenck Price Smith & King, LLP and 7 West Hair Designers were recognized as Endowed Patrons. Colavito & Associates sponsored dinner. Beer rounds were sponsored by DZInsures.com, Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, and TS Ltd. Scholarships contributions recognized were: Polo's Bar & Grill, The Second Half on Main, Our Lady of the Assumption Society, AR Affordable Maintenance, RJM Investigations, Solar Bear Energy, Bucco for Senate, Kathleen Walsh, The Growing Stage, JH Bongiorno and Bernadette Dalesandro.
