Skylands Rotary Club kicks off its 2020-21 scholarship campaign with the Dictionary Project.

The Dictionary Project supports basic education and literacy by delivering dictionaries to third-graders in area schools.

"The Skylands Rotary Club has been providing dictionaries to local schools for many years," said Skylands Rotary Club Vice President Bob Hathaway. "These dictionaries will help kids become better writers, active readers, creative leaders and resourceful learners. I am proud to be part of this important initiative."

This campaign aims to raise more than $12,000 which will be used exclusively for the dictionaries and educational programs of the Skylands Rotary Club, Hathaway said.

If you are interested in being part of the Club's campaign, including sponsorship, please contact Hathaway at (201) 230-4400.
